Description
Nougat dates back to old generations, with the traditional stands at the village festa. That was where you bought your nougat. The best nougat was always produced in Gozo and you would check the sign on the stand to make sure that you were getting the real thing. There were traditionally two choices: the white soft nougat filled with nuts and wrapped with a wafer ribbon as we as the hard nougat with a variety of nuts.
