Traditional “Maltese” Coffee
€7.50 – €14.50
Description
Traditional Maltese Coffee or “Kafe Msajjar” is a spiced coffee that used to be purchased from the village or town grocery shop. It used to be mixed with water in a typical coffee pot (stanjata) and cooked for half an hour or so. Once cooked and filtered, the coffee pot was placed on an old petroleum tabletop stove (spiritiera), on low heat, ready to be served. Our traditional Maltese Coffee is a blend of Arabica and Robusta coffee beans, infused with roasted chicory, ground cloves and ground aniseed.
Traditional Enamel Kettles are now available in Blue.
